WHO WE ARE
Simply, a club for students of Queen's University (Kingston, Ontario), that like to escape the concrete and play Outdoors.
Land Acknowledgement
We at the Queen’s University Outdoors Club recognize that we are uninvited guests on the unceded territories of many different nations. This includes the territory of Haudenosaunee, Anishinaabe, and Wabanaki Peoples of Turtle Island. We are outdoor athletes, and it is our duty to not only recognize this, but actively promote anti-colonialist practices and promote Indigenous voices regarding all aspects of what we participate in. We must act to learn from the stewards of these lands to work towards decolonizing outdoor activities and trips to the best of our abilities.

Vision
Philosophically, a club to enhance physical and mental health through active self-propelled engagement of the Outdoors, while enhancing environmental awareness and connections to our natural surroundings and to peers that share these common values.

Mission
To provide convenient access to outdoor activities to all who are interested, regardless of experience or skill level. To Encourage an appreciation for the natural environment. To promote an active outdoor lifestyle amongst students.
