Gone but never forgotten...

Julia Sjolin
Hey! My name is Julia, I am a 4th year languages and con-ed student. I think nature is pretty neat and I love canoeing, camping, hiking, basically anything outdoors. Can’t wait to meet you guys and have some fun times outside this year!

Nicole Fox
Hey I'm Nicole, and I'm into anything that means being outside, especially if it involves adrenaline and some good food to accompany! You might see me biking, running or xc skiing around campus...or foolishly doing a polar dip. This is my 3rd year being with QUOC and I'm very excited about what's in store.

Sasha Schouten
I'm a Geo Eng student who has spent the past couple years river guiding, hiking, backpacking, cycling and doing all that other good shtuff. Stoked to head out on some trips with y'all this year!

Ariel Albin
Hey!! my name is Ariel and I’m in 3rd year Biology! I love everything that involves being outside and just spent my summer in Jasper National Park where I got to go on some pretty rad trips! Excited to (hopefully) do some outdoorsy stuff with you guys this year!

Emma Hamber
Hello!! My name is Emma and I’m in my fourth year of ConEd, teaching history, english, and visual art. I spend as much time as I can outside and I love whitewater canoeing, hiking and fall camping. When I’m not hiking and camping my way in and around Kingston I work at camp leading canoe trips and running arts and crafts. My favourite trip was a 25 day whitewater canoe trip up the Missinaibi River. I am excited for another year of outdoor adventures with all of you!

Lydia Johnson
My name is Lydia Johnson and I am a first year Masters of Environmental Studies student. I love the outdoors, especially biking, back country camping and xc skiing. I was the Lakehead University Parks Canada Club campus leader for 2 years and am excited to continue my journey here at Queens!

Hey my name is Hayley but people also call me HJ. I’m studying Nursing and doing a certificate in Global Action and engagement at Queen’s. Some fun facts about me are that my absolute favourite animal is a meerkat, I love country music (catch me at tumble!) and some of my best memories have been outdoors with family and friends and I can’t wait to make more memories with the outdoors club this year!!

Mackie Douglas
Fifth year geological engineering, from the WILD WILD WEST. Avid yogi and hiker. I sleep better in a tent so expect some camping trips lead by yours truly. Looking forward to meeting everyone, if you have any trip suggestions feel free to shoot me an email, would love to include everyone’s suggestions this year.

Emma Paul
As someone who spends at least half of their time outside, I thought what better way to celebrate it than through the outdoors club. That, and there is no indoors club.

Ben Pulver
Ben was raised by wolves on the secret, barren mountainous island just offshore the well known 'Wolfe Island'. However, he was abandoned shortly after the wolf family realized he was a vegetarian. Ever since, Ben has been sighted around Queen's campus, apparently attending lectures or prowling for snacks. More likely, Ben is known to hike into the mountains and burrow amidst the trees, as he finds solace in the nostalgia of nature bringing him back to his wolfpack roots. Also loves playing fetch, so don't hesitate to throw a frizbee his way.

Greg Harrington
Chief 'yak. I am great. Greatness is me. All hail Greg

Emily Schnarr
My perfect date is April 25th, because it's not too hot, not too cold.

Niklas Wallgren
